If the light we receive from the stars is millions of years old, and we see them now as they were then, and they could even be long extinct in what we call the present; that means that as light from the sun reflects off our planet, images of our existence, of you and me, of all of us, will travel to the ends of the universe for hundreds of millions of years after we die. All of our faces, colors, stories will travel for ever into the unknown darkness that is the universe… In a sense, we will live for ever. How is this not fucking awesome?
