just got done watching/reading Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World as well as all of the comic books. Like a Clockwork Orange, the film takes the moral of the original book and flips it around, giving almost the complete opposite message. I don’t quite have a problem with this, but I like the comic books WAY better.

Why is the flooding in Venezuela not a bigger news story internationally? People are fucking DYING. Also, Hugo Chávez has forbidden the National Center for Meteorology and Hydrology to give out any information to the public as to how the storms will continue to develop in the days to follow. It’s like if the US government would’ve prohibited the media from broadcasting information...
